Basically, Gary Fisher Bikes are a collection of bikes, presently produced by Trek Bikes, who have earned a
name as one of the largest and highest quality bicycle manufacturers around the globe. However, the company
has maintained a separate brand name for Gary Fisher collection, out of respect to Gary Christopher Fisher, who
is considered as one of the inventors of modern day mountain bikes.
Gary Fisher, born in the year 1950 started his career at the age of 12 competing in track and road racing events
for six years, until he was suspended in the year 1968 by the race organizers because his hair was too long.
However, his career didn’t end there, he again started to participate in the racing event from 1972, when rule
was lifted and won a Masters XC national title and TransAlp race in Europe.
Like the legend himself, Trek Bikes have produced hundreds of legendary models under the brand name in
various categories including the mountain bikes with the implementation of full suspension, 29er full suspension,
G2 hardtails, cyclocross are the few to name. The bikes in Dual Sport series are the perfect match to tame any
